Teena and Charlie – Casa Loma – Toronto Wedding Photographer

I can hardly wait to hit ‘publish’ on this one. This is my eighth year photographing weddings and each and every one of those years has been exciting, a new adventure, full of moments that I’ll remember for the rest of my life, that I got to capture to help my clients look back on for the rest of their lives. It’s amazing. Like most photographers I’ve had kind of a running wish list of places I’ve wanted to work, and Casa Loma has been on that list for me since year one. On Saturday I finally had that opportunity, and I couldn’t possibly have chosen a better group of people to share that experience with.

In true ‘small world’ fashion, Teena and I have a couple random connections and when she got in touch about her upcoming wedding I was so excited. Anyone who knows Teena knows what a truly lovely person she is, right to the core, and I was so happy to hear that she’d found Charlie.  Their love story is beautiful, and seeing them together you can’t help but feel that they’re perfectly matched.

We started our day Saturday together at Civello in Rosedale. I have to take a moment to tell you how incredible the staff here is, and give an extra thank you to Corin who saved me when I arrived in Toronto and realized I’d forgotten my wallet (and had no change for parking). Everyone here was lovely and did beautiful work on our gorgeous bridal party.

Scroll through to see what else this beautiful day had in store for us. Gorgeous flowers, Monique Lhuillier, the happiest flower girl I’ve ever seen, pretty light, laughter all day, tears at the best times, and Beavertails (yes, really!) – all set against the backdrop of Toronto’s historic Casa Loma. It was gorgeous. Teena and Charlie, thank you so much for this wonderful day celebrating the two of you with all of your people. It was magic, and it was fun. I love you two. ♥
