Bellamy – Toronto Newborn Photographer
I’ve been looking forward to this one! Meet Bellamy, and her wonderful parents Megan and Gordon. In the late spring I heard from Megan’s older brother who wanted to do something special for his sister’s first baby, and this past weekend I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with this sweet little family in their Toronto home.
I know I previewed this image a few days ago, but I wanted to share it again so I can tell you about it. Those of you who have known me for awhile will know that I’m a knitter, and I have mad love for hand crafted items. They take an eternity to create and when you’re making something for someone, the whole process is powered by love. It has to be, or you’d never take it on in the first place, and you’d never finish. And that pile of blankets that Bellamy is sleeping on is the result of a lot of hours and a lot of love, all for her. The whole collection is absolutely beautiful, and immediately told me volumes about the incredible friends and family who have all been waiting for her. So of course we had to use them all. ♥
Megan and Gordon, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful girl with me. She’s wonderful, and I’m so happy for the three of you. And Blayne, thank you again for letting me be part of this gift to your sister! Obviously I’m biased, but I always think that this is the best kind of gift. I hope you’ll all cherish these for decades to come. ♥
