Wendy and Eric – Chappaqua Wedding Photographer
I can’t stop grinning and tearing up over this chilly March day in Chappaqua with Wendy and Eric and all of the people who traveled from around the world to celebrate with them. I first met Wendy in 2014 when she attended her cousin’s wedding at the Eglinton Grand, and I was so excited to hear from her last year when she and Eric began planning their own wedding at Crabtree’s Kittle House.
As has become a terrible habit, this is a very long blog post, but there were so many fantastic moments and I couldn’t cut it down any further. I cry at every wedding, and this one was hardly an exception. This was day that was packed from start to finish with love, laughter, and memories, as everyone joined to celebrate these two incredible people and the new chapter they’re beginning together.
Wendy and Eric, thank you so much for the honour of capturing this day for you. I loved it all and I couldn’t be happier for you two. I hope you’re having the best time away, and I can’t wait to share the rest. Mazel tov! ♥
Are you ready? This chuppah! Wendy knit the cover herself, hundreds of thousands of stitches adorned with tiny crystal beads. As a knitter I was completely blown away by the artistry involved in what she’d created, and I loved that she wanted this symbol of the home to be something she created from her own two hands. Here are a few details. ♥
I love this guestbook idea. They asked their loved ones to flip through and find a recipe that sounded delicious and to sign that page, so they’d think of them when they opened the book to cook.
You had to be there.

Do you see that look on Eric’s face? Because he’s the only one who knows what’s about to happen.
“Hootenanny.”
That menu traveled with Nancy from Bogota.
