Jenna and Craig – Port Elgin Engagement Photographer

Oh, you guys! I can’t wait for this wedding. First of all, a huge thank you to these two wonderful people who have been amazing to work with. Jenna and Craig, I’m so grateful for you two and I’m so excited to see you again.

A week and a half ago I drove north and met with Jenna and Craig at early o’clock for their engagement session. I always expect people to cringe when I suggest a time when most people are still sleeping, but these two were all up for it and showed up with their sense of humour. We met at the beach where we took advantage of that beautiful light that you get so early in the day, and they told me stories about how they met and got to know each other. Jenna and Craig are both baseball players, so next we headed up the hill to their favourite diamond, and then on to Biener’s Trail, where we found a random, loan cherry blossom tree where it had no business being, and a beautiful little pond – just in time for it to be uncomfortably hot for May.

Ah, this whole set. I love these images, and I had the hardest time narrowing it down for this post. I love the way they are together, the way they look at each other, the way they laugh together. They’re completely lovely, and I’m so excited for the fall when we get to do it all again at Saugeen Golf Club. Jenna and Craig, I love you guys! Thank you, thank you! This morning was so great, and it was a real privilege to have that time with you. I hope you love this peek. ♥
