2015. Wow. ♥

I don’t know where to start. This year! This incredible year! What an honour to have shared it with all of you. For awhile now I’ve been thinking about how I could possibly turn this beautiful 2015 into a single post, and sorting through these images has been a huge undertaking. I loved it all. I loved you all. I love these memories that we created together, and I loved documenting these moments for you to hold on to forever. Professionally I feel like I’ve achieved a lot this year, and I feel so grateful that after a full eight years in this job I still feel fresh and excited and happy every single time I head out the door to spend time with people. On a personal level, I’ve just had the best year ever with my family, and those of you who have been with me for the last few years know how much it means to me that they’re all here. So along with (not even close to all of) my favourite moments I captured with you this year I’ve included just a couple personal favourites. Thank you, all of you, for all of this. I’d apologize for how massive this recap is, but I’m just so excited to share it all. And there isn’t much rhyme or reason. I tried to organize, but that was taking a pretty long time, so mostly they’re just piled in. I hope you enjoy!

Together this year we:

welcomed new tiny people ~ celebrated 50 years of marriage ~ rode trains
embraced who we are ~ shouted out who we are ~ hugged through transition
frolicked through fields of flowers ~ drank champagne at 9am (in tiaras!)
danced in the rain ~ took shelter while storms passed ~ sang silly songs
wrapped each other in blankets ~ wrapped each other in our arms
laughed ~ cried happy tears ~ cried sad tears ~ remembered
read surprising birthday cards ~ held hands ~ raised a glass
rocked babies ~ twirled ~ ate cake ~ hiked ~ dressed up
climbed rocks ~ splashed ~ chased flocks of seagulls
waited ~ ran ~ hugged
lived

This year has been exceptional in every possible way. I have loved this time with you and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to help you capture these moments this year. From the bottom of my very full heart, thank you.

And last, but not least, the people I’m with when I’m not with you. The biggest thank you to my family for all of the love, support, and patience as I spend my days and years doing this beautiful job that I’m so proud of. I’m a better mom and wife because of all of you, and a better photographer because of the four of them. You all mean the world to me. ♥
