Well hi everyone! Welcome to the new www.jillpromoli.com!

First, a huge thank you to my very handsome partner in crime for all of his help putting this together. Craig’s work on my website has been invaluable right from the start, so I’d like to take this opportunity to give him a high five for yet another job well done. Craig, you are the best. Thanks for everything you do. I love you. ♥

On to the updates! Bear with me – we’re still selecting and loading in content, and this has proven to be quite the process. Can I tell you how difficult it is to choose highlight galleries from eight years of work? ‘I’ll just choose a couple favourites from each, no problem!’ I told myself. And then my short list from the first wedding I opened had 30 favourites. So.

A quick walk around the new space. On the home page you’ll find links to galleries. First, overall highlights, and below that you’ll find some featured weddings and (coming soon) sessions, filled with favourites you’ve seen before and a ton you haven’t. The features include (a lot) more than the original blog posts did, and they were really fun to put together – though it was still tough to narrow down. 🙂 If you’re on a computer you’ll see gallery titles when you hover over the images. If you’re mobile, you’ll just have to click to see. And you want to click to see, these galleries are beautiful, if I do say so myself.

The blog! We were able to import the full catalogue into the new site, right back to the beginning. There’s still a little updating to do, but it’s all still here.

Learn a little more about me and how to book me in the ‘About’ section. The blurb is not new. I had planned to update it along with the rest of the site, but then I read it again and I still love it. Go read it, whether you have before or haven’t. ♥

Finally, client galleries! Once upon a time we hosted galleries right here on our own site, but for various reasons we let those go. We’re really excited to be introducing them again with a provider we love. Right now images in the client galleries can be downloaded directly, and in the next week or so we’ll enable print ordering as well.

Some of you already have galleries up, a few more are going up this week, and they look amazing.

And of course, one more big change – the branding. You guys. I really, really love it. Those of you who know me have told me that it feels like me, and I couldn’t agree more. It feels right to to use something so personal to me to represent my work. ♥

There will be more updates rolling out in coming weeks, and I can’t wait to share it all with you. I’m head over heels with the new look, and there are some amazing weddings and sessions lined up to share with you here this year – including a few from my personal wish list. My 2015 calendar is pretty full, so get in touch soon if you’d like to get something in this year.
