Meghan and Dougal Part Deux – Southampton Wedding Photographer
Here it is! Meghan and Dougal’s wedding took place this past weekend at Sandy Lane Farm near Southampton. Guys, this venue? Oh wow. It’s fabulous. The owners of this beautiful establishment have been lovingly restoring this historic farm house for seven years and have just recently made the property available for weddings and events. I’m a little enamoured with the willows, fields and rustic barn, and I’m beyond excited that I already have two more bookings to shoot here.
So this is how 90% of my weddings start: members of the wedding party armed with their Timmy’s fix. From here the day got a little unique.
Yeah, that’s a gun. Most guys golf or play cards the morning of a wedding. Not these guys!
The day’s events were a little more reconizable after that.
Meghan is a girl after my own heart with all of the day’s beautiful homemade details. Any of the weathered wood that you see in these pictures was reclaimed from a pretty clever resource and used to enhance the elegantly rustic atmosphere, and all of the fabric bunting was made by the mother of the bride.

On her way to see Dougal for the first time.
Yeah, this happened.
This happened, too.
Meghan and Dougal met while spending a summer with College Pro, so Meghan incorporated this detail into sweet places throughout the day.
I should have taken a picture of the back of her dress – it was gorgeous! I want one.
Meghan and Dougal, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day. I loved spending time with you, your friends and your family. Congratulations again!
