Katie and Chris’ wedding at Arundel

“It’ll do for one night.”

Thus begins the story of how the beautiful Arundel Lodge came to become a part of Katie’s family, shaping all of their lives.  When seeing how special this place was to everyone there, it only seemed perfect that this would be where Katie would have her wedding.  And what a wedding!  Everyone was laidback and excited, and the whole day just had a great energy.  And it’s definitely hard to beat Lake Muskoka as a backdrop for saying your vows.

I never get tired of corset backs.  Yes, it means that you can’t go home and play dress-up in your wedding dress, but I just love this part of the day when the bride’s nearest and dearest help her prepare for one of the biggest days of her life.

The bell!  It’s a tradition to ring this bell for dinner, and the grandkids would always argue over who got to ring it each day.  Since it was her day, Katie took full advantage.
