Merry Christmas!

Aaaaand we’re trying again.  Sadly, the internet connection at my mom’s house has been a little less than stable and the frequent disconnections have left me unable to get my daily posts up.  Sorry everyone!  So I’m giving it a shot this morning, and if this doesn’t work then they’ll need to wait until I’m back to the city.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!  For Christmas morning I wanted to bring you a little piece of a traditional Christmas at the Promoli house.  Every year after stockings and presents we sit down and eat this same pastry, hot from the oven, with champagne.  Every year, without fail, and only at Christmas.  It’s my absolute favourite part of the holiday, when I get to sit down with my family to laugh and talk and eat.
