Adventuring – Port Elgin Photographer

In our house we place a great deal of importance and value on our friends – the family we’ve chosen for ourselves. Our kids have far more aunts and uncles and cousins than they were actually born into, and we’re pretty in love with the village we’ve been building.

I’ve known Rachel for a very long time and she has become one of my dearest friends. I’m so proud to know her and grateful for her perspective, sense of humour, and great big heart. A little more than five years ago we were lucky enough to bring home two of the most fabulous little girls we could ever have imagined, and lucky us – they are head over heels for each other. Since it’s March break I packed my crew up and took them north for a couple days and a much needed adventure with these wonderful people we’ve chosen for ourselves, and Isla and Noelle happily picked out their fanciest dresses for pancakes and a surprise adventure. We watched them run, dance, explore, and tell secrets all over Grey County’s own little Narnia/Secret Garden, and it was a day that I’ll love forever.

Rachel and Noelle, Isla and I love you so much! Thanks for you, always. ♥

^^FYI, five year olds have the prettiest little secrets.
